Medals Guide

Information about Single Stat Medals will be coming soon.

A short guide to explain about Medals, how to get them and how to upgrade Combat Medals in the game. There are various types of medals in the game which you will be able to get through various methods.

What are Medals?

Medals are items which can be equipped into your gear to better enhance your stats. The quality of equipment you have on your commander will depend on how many medals that equipment can have. Some equipment can have no medal slots available and some can have up to a maximum of 3.

Using Medals

When you get medals, they will appear in your inventory in either the ‘All’ or ‘Growth’ tabs. Tapping on the medal in the Inventory and selecting the ‘Use’ option will make it so you can see the medal in the Medal Armory, which we will cover next. Only once medals have been moved to your Armory will you be able to equip them to your gear or use them to upgrade other medals.

Medal Armory

The Armory which can be accessed by tapping on your ‘Equipment Workshop’ then Armory is where you will refine/upgrade your medals. Once you open the Armory, to view medals simply tap on the ‘Medals’ tab on the right.

In this screen, you are able to see all of the medals you have whether they are equipped or not. If they are equipped into your gear you will see the word ‘Embedded’ on the medal. In total, you can have up to 100 unequipped medals at a time in your Armory indicated by the small text at the bottom right.

Now you know how to access your medals, you need to know how to equip them into your gear.

Equipping Medals

Once you have made sure your Medals are in the Medal Armory, you can then start equipping them. Simply tap on the ‘Equipment’ tab on the right to view all of your manufactured equipment. Select on the piece of equipment you wish to add a Medal too and then on the left side of your screen scroll down to where you see ‘Medal Slots’.

You will now see, like in the screenshot above, a medal can be inserted into the Equipment. Tapping on this empty slot will bring up a window showing you which medals are available to go into that slot.

Select the Medal you wish to insert into your gear and tap ‘Embed’.

Upgrading/Refining Medals

Medals can be upgraded. The word used for this in the game is ‘Refined’. To refine a medal, you can use either ‘Refining Medals’ or unused medals which may be in your Medal Armory which you have no use for. Let’s go over how this is done.

First, you will need to open up your Medal Armory and select the Medal you wish you refine. Doing this show the medal on the left of the Armory Screen and you will be able to scroll down to see what the Medal’s upgraded stats will be.

Now you know what the stats will be if you want to refine this Medal, you will need to tap the small plus/addition icon (+) next to the Exp Bar.

You can now select the spare Medals you wish to use to upgrade your equipped Medals. You will see in the screenshot that 142,140 points are needed to upgrade the Basic Cobra Star (V). The points each medal gives is written on the medals you select as ‘Purity +10′ for example. Once you select the Medals you want, the green experience bar will fill up showing you how many more points are needed. Once you have finished your selection just tap on ‘Confirm’.

Removing Medals

Just like you can equip Medals, you can also remove them from your gear. To do this, you will need to go into the ‘Equipment’ tab of your Armory, select the piece of gear you wish to remove the Medal from then select the specific medal to remove. This will show you a new small message window which you can see below.

Removing Medals will cost you 20 Gold or alternatively, you can simply destroy the Medal directly at no cost. Be careful, destroying the Medal cannot be reversed. Once you have removed a Medal, it will be placed directly back into the ‘Medals’ section of the Armory

Multi Stat Medals

Medals which provide you with multiple stats are generally better to focus on. They offer more stats which will improve your combat efficiency. The medals which offer these stats are called Honor Medals, Justice Medals and Cobra Medals.

Honor Medals

Out of the three named medals above, Honor Medals are the weakest. They still offer good stats for what they are and are easily obtained and upgraded. Below are the various free and paid methods of obtaining Honor Medals. It’s worth noting, the Top Honor Medal (Triangle Medal) is rare.

Cobra Medals

Currently, these are the best medals available in the game once you have leveled them up to there maximum potential. They do take quite some time to level up if you are a Free Player or Low Spender.

Upgrading to Rare & Famous Cobra Medals
A common question about Cobra Medals is: “How do I get Rare or Famous Medals, I don’t see them in any bundles?” Well, the answer to this is quite straight forward. You just have to keep upgrading your Level 6 Basic Cobra Medals. Once you upgrade your level 6 Basic Cobra Medal, your Basic medal will turn into a Level 6 Rare Cobra Medal (Orange). You can then upgrade your Rare Cobra Medal into a Level 6 Famous Cobra Medal (Golden). The amount of refining experience needed is in the tables below for each medal upgrades.
